ON Semiconductor Senior Customer Quality Engineer (TL) in Shenzhen, China
As an Account PCN Manager, you will be coordinating with internal cross functional teams and our customers for all PCN related topics. In close cooperation with our Sales, FAE & Marketing team and our worldwide Manufacturing, BU, Technology and Application colleagues, you will support PCN process with customers, as well as resolve customer inquiries with a high sense of urgency.
Primary coordinator between customers and internal Onsemi from the PCN aspect.
Support Business Team in Process Change Notification (PCN) approval process at customer, from Quality & Reliability perspective.
To work with Sales team driving customer PCN response/approval within PCN mature date window.
Form and drive cross functional teams as needed to fix existing issues& facilitate PCN closure with the customer.
Review and ensure correctness and completeness of APM assignment and Customer Specific Requirements.
To upload up-to-date Qualified Part List (when applicable) provided by Sales team to PCN system (Salesforce, etc), and maintain latest customer contact list at PCN system (Salesforce, etc).
Confirm detail information for the change on the PCN with PCN owner.
Manage technical/Quality&Reliability portion with customers and internal teams.
Communicating PCN to customer in time, uploading on their portal, transferring information into customer required format by defined due date after PCN distribution.
Ensure regular meeting is set with customer /CQE/Sales/CSR for PCN letter& datapack review, identifying customer requirement, follow up approval progress in a timely manner.
To manage Customer’s requests (e.g. samples, additional data) with internal support teams/PCN owner.
Request PCN sample into System & pass PCN Samples to sales or work with sales to establish special PCN samples process flow as required by customer to deliver samples to customer for trial run, follow up with customer on the trial run status (when applicable) in a timely manner.
Prepare an excel table checklist for PCN status update/approval for the customer – constantly update on SharePoint (once a week or bi-weekly).
Complete closure process (approval/Rejection and record the response in PCN system or Communication of requests, issues and delays, to PCN Owner).
To handle additional Quality & Reliability related projects/activities as assigned by supervisor.
Degree in Electronics Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or science disciplines.
Minimum 5 year working experience in semiconductor industry as customer quality engineering/Quality assurance or process engineering.
Well-Versed in English communication (reading, listening, writing and speaking), preferably CET-6 or above.
Good presentation skills and leading meetings.
Highly motivated, open personality, good interpersonal skills and positive mind, logical , sense of urgency, web savvy, system oriented.
Knowledge in Process Capability Study, FA methodology and Team oriented problem solving (8D methodology & 5 Whys), Understanding on Quality improvement tools and terms (6 Sigma, SPC, CTQ, Cpk, FMEA, DOE, Systematic Root Cause Analysis, etc.), Quality system (ISO9001, IATF 16949, ISO14001, OHSAS18001, etc.) are added advantages.
Structured and analytical working method.
Proficient in office tools like MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Willingness to travel (Domestic & Overseas Business trips) and work in an international, intercultural team.
