onsemi Director, Demand Forecasting in San Jose, California
onsemi is seeking a self-driven and motivated professional to join the Power Management Division. As a Director of Demand Forecasting, you will have the opportunity to actively lead a broad-based global team of professionals in a fast paced, continuous improvement environment.
The role encompasses accurate demand forecasting and revenue tracking to meet global revenue goals for a growing $1B+ Division. It will also include effective management of inventory while achieving the revenue goals. You will interface with multiple Product Lines, Sales and Marketing, Global Supply Chain teams, Manufacturing Management, Distribution/Channel teams, and Finance. You will collaborate with cross functional executives establish a roadmap and process of supply chain excellence, customer focus, and continuous improvement.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Drive operational excellence and best practices through business units, operations and supply chain to improve accuracy of revenue forecasting and revenue attainment.
Analyze industry trends to accurately forecast and align revenue forecasts across market segments. Track market movers as leading indicators to capitalize on upsides and minimize downsides in revenue.
Implement best practices across demand functions including demand planning (delivery goals, inventory strategies), planning execution, order management, and inventory management.
Participate with the Product Lines in effective pricing management of the products.
Effectively manage the Power Management Division product portfolio for revenue including End-of-Life, Process Change Notifications, Supply Chain changes, New Product Release support.
Create Strategic 5-year revenue plans to enable long term capacity planning.
Drive management of Long-Term Supply Agreements with customers to ensure revenue predictability.
Partner with cross functional organizations to deploy onsemi’s best in class supply chain technology. This includes identification and recommendation of modeling supply constraints; creation of item attributes such as lead times, inventory logic, planning rules, etc.
Communicate and interact with onsemi senior executives regarding business needs to secure resources needed to satisfy customer demands and ensure delivery and/or implementation.
Must be capable of translating objectives and needs into a deliverable strategy to achieve business goals and create a competitive advantage of the product portfolio. Focus on building a world-class team, utilizing, and deploying lean techniques, driving continuous improvement activities and achievement of superior performance across all KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
