onsemi Applications Engineer, Electrical Safety Products in Richardson, Texas

Functions and Responsibilities

The Applications Engineer will support and enable our industry leading Electrical Safety product line. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in integrated circuit design or ASSP application engineering with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Key responsibilities include:

  • Understand product system applications.

  • Design and validate product evaluation boards.

  • Verify critical specifications through bench testing and characterization.

  • Define, design, and validate reference designs and product demo boards.

  • Help debug product system application issues with customers designing in products.

  • Write promotional articles highlighting new products.

  • Train Sales and Distribution on existing and new products.

  • Work closely with the Marketing Team to create technical marketing collateral.

  • Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and written, to all stakeholders.
