ON Semiconductor is seeking a self-driven and motivated professional to join their Design Team in Pocatello, Idaho. As a Design Intern, you will have the opportunity to interface directly with experienced design engineers in both digital and analog fields of study. You will be given meaningful engineering tasks compensatory with you capabilities and experience. We currently have over 50 engineers in various fields working in Pocatello.
This opportunity will ask a student to have the following performance objectives:
Mixed-signal VLSI design and verification.
For Digital emphasis - Design implementation throughRTL coding, synthesis, ATPG, and static timing analysis.
For Analog emphasis – Schematic capture and simulationin Cadence
Silicon evaluation (bench testing).
In order to be considered for an internship, you must be a student currently enrolled in school pursuing an accredited degree program. This position is specifically looking for an individual with a minimum of 3 years college experience and:
Pursuing a BSEE (MSEE or PhD a plus).
Some exposure to digital, analog, or mixed-signalcircuit design and verification.
Knowledge of the Verilog language (or VHDL) a plus.
Logic synthesis, DFT, ATPG, and STA skills a plus.
Cadence experience a plus
Knowledge of UNIX/Linux and some scripting languages(e.g. Perl, shell, tcl, etc).
Experience with test pattern generation, FPGAprototyping, and/or LabView coding a plus.
Fluency in written and oral communication in theEnglish language.
