ON Semiconductor Senior Process Fluids and Gases Facility Engineer in Pocatello, Idaho
ON Semiconductor is seeking a self-driven and motivated engineering professional to join their Site Services team, located in Pocatello, Idaho. As a Senior Process Fluids and Gases Facility Engineer, you will have the opportunity to research, study, design, document, and perform capacity, quality, and reliability analysis of facility process fluids and gas systems. These systems include inert, toxic, hazardous and non-hazardous gas delivery equipment and systems and process fluid systems such as reverse osmosis, de-ionized water, and bulk liquid chemical delivery systems. This individual will provide project design support for the installation of semiconductor manufacturing tools. Some design duties include equipment sizing, selection, layout, verification of physical installations, and coordination with multiple engineering disciplines to ensure quality control. The individual will provide engineering support to maintain and operate process fluid and gas distribution systems. The individual will be required to build strong working relationships and interact with facility technicians, multi-disciplined engineering teams, manufacturing personnel, bulk and specialty gas representatives, and mechanical contractors. This individual should be creative and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently or within a group setting.

Facility engineers are expected to spend a significant amount of time in the field learning and supporting the operations and maintenance teams. Strong working relationships across multiple cross functional teams is essential and requires strong communication skills. Attention to detail, especially with regard to hazardous materials and high purity piping systems is a must.
In order to be considered for the position you must have the following skills:
Bachelor Degree in MechanicalEngineering
5 or more years of experiencewith industrial fluids and gas systems
Familiar with mechanicalengineering concepts such as fluid mechanics and materials science
Proficient with Microsoftsoftware such as Excel, Word, Project, etc.
Knowledge of and ability toapply building a mechanical code requirements to installation/modificationprojects
Ability to perform flowanalysis calculations, pump and piping sizing, material compatibility, filtersizing, purifier selection, regulator sizing, etc.
Ability to prepare and/orreview mechanical drawings and specifications for accuracy, code compliance,and cost-effectiveness
Able to maintain accuratedocumentation for wide variety of fluid and gas systems
Ability to incorporate soundsafety and environmental practices in system designs and construction
Ability to managemultiple assingments and shift directions/priorities on a routine basis
Project management, schedulingand cost tracking is desired
PE License is desired
