ON Semiconductor is seeking a self-driven and motivated professional to join their Power Solutions Group Design Team, located in Phoenix, Arizona. As an Engineering Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on state of the art Gallium Nitride (GaN) power device technology. You will be working with expert device technologists on electrical and reliability testing of GaN devices, with the goal of introducing new products to the market.
This opportunity will ask a student to have the following performance objectives:
Responsible for electrical and reliabilitytesting of GaN devices, and support advanced device development team.
Analyze electrical and reliability test data.
Set up test environment in the lab.
In order to be considered for an internship, you must be a student currently enrolled in school pursuing an accredited degree program. This position is specifically looking for an Undergraduate (Junior or Senior), or Graduate student majoring in Electrical Engineering or Physics. You must be available to work for approximately 20 hours per week during the spring 2019 semester.
Preferably local candidates
BS (Junior or Senior), or GraduateStudent in Electrical Engineering or Physics.
Course work in Electrical and Electronic circuits.
Some experience in using electrical test equipmentin lab.
Data analysis tools (Excel, JMP etc).
Semiconductor device physics knowledge ispreferable, but not mandatory.
