Job Description

  1. Provide benefits-related customer service support to our employees.

  2. Serve as a contact for plan vendors and third-party administrators. Coordinate transfer of data to external contacts for services, premiums and plan administration.

  3. Document and maintain administrative procedures for assigned benefits processes.

  4. Coordinate daily benefits processing. Handle new employee enrollments, benefits changes due to qualified life events, accident and death claims, QMCSOs and annual compliance testing.

  5. Auditing and processing of monthly billings for payment of administrative fees for all group benefit plans.

  6. Assist with annual 401(k) plan audit and any other internal or external audits that may occur.

  7. Assist with annual non-discrimination/compliance testing.

  8. Develop communication tools to enhance understanding of the company's benefits package. Design materials for benefits orientations, open enrollment and other benefits-related communications.

Performance Objectives

Responsible for the day-to-day operations of U.S. and Canadian benefits programs (group health, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, health savings account, flexible spending accounts, and 401(k) plan). Provide excellent customer service to onsemi employees, assists with implementation of new benefits plans, improves existing programs, and provides analytical and technical support in the delivery of the benefit programs.

Qualifications

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree, preferably in Human Resources or Business.

  2. 3 years of related employee benefits administration experience. Experience with Canadian benefits is strongly preferred.

  3. Experience working with a benefits administration system. Experience with Alight Worklife is a plus.

  4. Excellent communication skills.

  5. Must be fully proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Candidates will be required to demonstrate their ability to use Excel during the interview process (formulas, VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.).

  6. Experience working with a diverse, global population is a plus.

  7. Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment. Capability of effective planning and priority setting. Ability to manage several complex projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines.

  8. Strong analytical skills and a thorough knowledge of plan designs.

  9. Knowledge of benefits contract language.

  10. Knowledge of all pertinent federal and state regulations, filing and compliance requirements, both adopted and pending, affecting employee benefits programs, including ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, HIPAA, Section 125 and ACA.
