ON Semiconductor IT Tools/SharePoint Developer in Phoenix, Arizona

ON Semiconductor is looking for a self-driven front-end SharePoint developer to join our IT Tools/SharePoint team in our Corporate Headquarters. Most of the Information Technology team operates from the Phoenix Corporate Headquarters location, and you will have direct insight to the organization as a whole. The ideal candidate should have the experience we are looking for apart from technical skills, one should have a good interpersonal skills with strong sense of functional capabilities to work with internal customers on system requirements and problems. Analytical and critical thinking will be crucial in working with clients. A team player with excellent communications skills is desired.

The IT Tools/SharePoint developer will provide immediate contributions to development efforts for new applications in addition to enhancing current solutions. The role will also provide 2nd and 3rd level support for various company systems.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop front end SharePoint 2013, 2016, SharePoint Online site designs using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Angular-JS, SPFx, C#, .NET, AJAX, XML, XSL, XSLT, and SharePoint Designer

  • Work with Business and IT Owners to gather, translate, and implement requirements to technical solutions

  • Responsible for the development of IT Tools and SharePoint solutions, web parts, workflows, Add-ins as well as contributing to the development of client-side customization

  • Debug and test custom solutions

  • Research and evaluate new related technologies


  • BS in Computer Science/Engineering (or equivalent) with minimum 5 years of SharePoint developer experience

  • Experience with SharePoint Workflows

  • Proficient with Powershell

  • Experience with CSOM, JSOM and REST

  • Experience with Automated Deployment for Cloud Providers

  • Applied experience in facilitating business requirements, research, and documentation

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to interact effectively with people from many different disciplines

  • Strong time management skills to prioritize workload and satisfy project deadlines with the abilities to adapt to changing priorities

Preferred Knowledge:

  • SharePoint certifications provides an advantage

  • Experience with web-based and/or client/server products in a Wintel and Linux, UNIX environment is an advantage

  • Experience with SQL is an advantage

  • Graphics Design skills is an advantage

  • Experience with Continuous Delivery Tools (GIT, Jira, Confluence, Jenkins) and methodologies

  • Knowledge of Structured Data Management, Workload/Job Automation (e.g. Autosys) and HP’s ALM is a plus
