ON Semiconductor Business Process Technical Analyst, Product Data Management in Phoenix, Arizona

ON Semiconductor is seeking a self-driven and motivated professional to join the Supply Chain organization I our Product Data Management team, located in Phoenix, Arizona. As a Business Process Technical Analyst, you will have the opportunity to work with and manage Product Data within ON Semiconductor across the company. This encompasses Bill-of-Material, manufacturing site assignments, engineering and operational attributes, as well as documents and specifications. In addition, you will participate in the integration of acquired companies and integrating their processes, systems, Product Data, and Documents into existing PDM systems.

Performance Objectives:

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to, but are not limited to the following:

  • Analyze ProductData to fix data anomalies from existing processes and data structures, aswell as to lead to improvements to PDM (Product Data Management) and PDMrelated systems and processes.

  • Work on large globalprojects across ON Semiconductor’s manufacturing and business unit’slocations and implement complex systems and processes. These projects are global in nature inall aspects – those who work on them, where they are implemented, and howthey are supported.

  • Convert data from multiplesystems, both “home grown” within ON Semiconductor and acquired companies,implement that data with Agile and at the same time move the impactedorganizations (Operations, Business Units, Engineering, Quality, andSupply Chain among others) to the new processes and system.

  • Work crossfunctionally with Product Engineering, Business Units, Quality and ITTeams to get information into the Agile System, process documentation andprocess improvement.

  • Provide trainingfor the use of Agile PDM system, related PDM systems

  • Participate in thetesting of the large, complex, multi-organizational, global projects.

  • Document as neededPDM Processes and Systems for training, education, communication, andprocess improvement purposes.

  • Years of experience:

  • A minimum of 2 years in a multinational / global organization

  • Education and training:

  • Bachelor Degree or above

  • Travel:

  • Ability and willingness to travel globally as required. The position is estimated to travelapproximately on a quarterly basis to global and domestic locations as requiredby project timelines.

  • Skills:

  • The ability to analyze information frommultiple systems, compare that information, draw conclusions, and take actionbased upon the information.

  • The ability to work across multiplefunctional areas and global locations.

  • Knowledge of the semiconductor industry is preferred by notrequired.

  • Experience and understanding of manufacturingprocess interact with IT processes and systems is required.

  • Knowledge of Agile Product Data Managementfrom Oracle is a strong advantage but not required.

  • Advanced skills in common workplace applications – inclusive ofcommon Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Access, SharePoint, Outlook).

  • Overall technical analytical computer skills with a focus on theability to analyze large amounts of complex data across multiple systems/environments/databasesto quickly draw conclusions and take actions upon that data.

  • Programming skills to query Oracle Databases, search file systems,parse text files, and create analysis and exception report for him/herself anda small number of team members.

  • The ability to learn complex computer systems – both off the shelfand internally developed within ON Semiconductor quickly

  • The ability to understand and synthesize high level goals intoexecutable actions.

  • Excellent communication and influence skills across multiplefunctions, geographies (i.e. globally) and levels in the organization.

  • The ability to building and maintain relationships with Engineering,Operations, Quality, and IT Teams.

  • Demonstrated positive attitude and pro-activeness.

  • The ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment.
