Manufacturing Capacity Strategy (internal and external)
Alignment of capacity strategy with BU strategy (PLPB, etc.)
Capacity rationalization; what gets built where, etc.
Capital planning & budgeting; capacity, infrastructure, etc.
Backend Capacity flexibility strategy
Global Assembly & Test Capacity Planning (internal and external)
S&OP process; 6-18 month capacity plans
Work with Business unit for capacity planning to meet dynamic BU demand.
Work with Business Unit and factory for capacity strategy development and capex plan
Identifying and addressing any capacity disconnects, and documenting any capacity changes
Communicating with the factories, ON Semiconductor GSCO, manufacturing and engineering on all capacity issues
Conduct high level demand and supply analysis, work with BU planning & Supply Chain Analyst group on capacity analysis, capacity fulfillment for demand allocation adjustment.
Train, delegate and provide guidance and tools to subordinates to enhance productivity and skill.
Establish business process among planning groups or cross departments/sites for business target realization.
Identify opportunity for business system improvement, initiate key projects and ensure deliverables are obtained as expected.
Participate in NPI project and follow up on the progress to ensure ramp up in alignment with business develop requirement to have capacity planning.
Performance measurement and expertise development for team members.
Bachelors or Masters degree
Excellent management and communication skills.
Strong Software experience, SAP R/3, PeopleSoft, Oracle system are preferred.
Good excel skills .
At least 5 years experience in planning and 5 years in management supervisor level with operation or engineering experince
Working experience in semiconductor industry are preferred.
