onsemi’s Logistics department is responsible for the first and last steps of the semiconductor manufacturing process. Position Description:

As a Logistics Specialist at onsemi’s premier 200mm manufacturing facility, you will work in a dynamic team environment that supports 24x7 manufacturing. Specific responsibilities of this position include:

  • Perform wafer starts (introducing raw wafers to begin manufacturing)

  • Packaging finished wafers for shipments by robotic-assisted and manual methods

  • Execute special requests from a work order system (splitting, archiving, preparing for shipment, reintroducing partially or fully processed wafers, etc.)

  • Raw wafer receiving and inventory activities (Dock receiving, recording material into computer system, managing physical inventory by stocking substrate shelves according to FIFO)

  • Preparation of SMIF pods for wafers in cleanroom environment

  • Internal customer service to other departments within onsemi

  • Supporting area cleanliness through 5S methodology

  • As needed, providing support for department projects or cross training opportunities

  • Able to work C shift schedule: Thursday, Friday, Saturday and every other Wednesday 6AM - 6:06PM.

All required training for utilizing our specific systems will be included. The role takes place in a mixed office space, warehouse, and cleanroom environment depending on the task being performed.

Required Minimum Education and/or Experience:

  • Formal Education Required:

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Specific Skills Required:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Self-prioritization skills

  • Flexible team player

  • Attention to detail

  • Computer knowledge (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Experience Preferred:

  • Prior Logistics experience

  • Prior semiconductor experience

  • Inventory/cycle counting experience

  • 5S methodology experience

  • Equipment Experience:

  • Forklift (Preferred)

  • Pallet jack

  • Hand truck
