onsemi Technician 3, Failure Analysis in Carmona, Philippines
Responsibilities:
Support TIER 1 failure analysis, package level failure investigation as well as basic electrical verification using curve tracer and other bench tools such as SMU’s.
Knowledgeable in using laboratory inspection tools such as optical microscopes , scanning electron microscopes , x-ray inspection as well as using sample preparation tools.
Basic electrical testing of a failure, starting with accessibility via the external paths, down to the specific cell of a product, enabling the identification and visualization of the failure mechanism.
For the reporting of their findings in a standard Product Analysis Laboratory format or 8D format that can be delivered to the internal or external customer.
Ensure 5S performance is according to the standards.
Assist engineer in lab capabilities improvement activities ( i.e. Kaizen).
Provide technical services to internal and external customer.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Degree/Diploma in Electronics/Electrical
Good in English writing and basic English communication skills.
Troubleshooting skills.
Decision making and problem-solving skills.
Good interpersonal skills.
