We are looking for someone for a 6-12 month maternity leave contract, afternoon shift (3:00 - 11:30pm)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performs process tests (such as visual, mechanical, electrical) to ensure that batches/materials meet specifications, reviews process documentation to ensure that all information is recorded correctly.

  • Performs visual, mechanical, electrical, and quality monitoring inspections of material process and equipment in the production of semiconductor devices, including incoming material and outgoing product quality.

  • Recognizes equipment and product problems, notifies supervisor and/or troubleshoots errors in order to achieve optimum production levels.

  • Works from standard inspection procedures, written diagrams, and charts.Prepares and maintains all necessary paperwork, recording defects.

  • Works on assignments that are moderately complex in nature where judgment is required in resolving problems and making routine recommendations.

We’re looking for:

  • Minimum Grade 12 Education. Post-secondary education preferred.

  • Requires inspection experience, reading, writing and basic arithmetic skills, and the ability to utilize charts, tables and specifications, and operate a variety of measuring instruments.

  • Computer skills required in excel and word, communication and reporting.

  • Attention to details and good organizational skills

  • Can work afternoon or night shifts as required

  • Time flexible and ability to multi-task

  • Good ability to read and follow instructions

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and good team player

  • Experience working with microscopes for inspection (preferred but not required)

  • Experience in machine operations (preferred but not required)
