onsemi is seeking a Design Layout Engineer to be part of the Logic, Switches and Interface development team located in Bucharest, Romania. The Design Layout Engineer will be responsible for the development of various analog switches, logic families and translator products in different technology nodes, use of different tools (Cadence, Mentor) and LVS/DRC/ERC/post-layout verification.

Core responsibilities include the following:

· Individual contributor in the design team to create innovative layout in CMOS technologies through the use of CAD.

· Develop area-efficient layout of integrated circuits for schematics provided by the design team.

· Perform layout verification based on circuit design requirements and process documentation.

· Timely executed layout, while ensuring a high standard of quality.

· Estimate layout schedule for a given circuit and provide early feedback.

· Collaborate with layout and design engineers to develop products that meet end customer requirements.
