• Your primary focus will be on the performance analysis of systems running electronic design automation tools. This will require knowledge of all parts of Linux systems from memory management to networking. You will help to develop tools and techniques for improving the performance of CAD tools used for the design of semiconductors.

• This will require work on all aspects of the software development life cycle, including defining requirements, designing the application, implementation, testing, maintenance and support.

• You may also be required to develop scripts for chip design flow automation.

• In addition to software development, the job responsibilities may require support, maintenance, and customization of 3rd party software that is used by chip design teams.
