onsemi Solutions Architect in Bangalore, India
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Windows architect will be responsible for setting short term tactical objectives and long-term strategic goals. Experience in legacy in place systems will be critical to this position, to ensure clean migration paths to newer technologies can be developed.
TECHNICAL ROLE AND LEAD:
Must have experience in the following:
Extensive experience managing M365 ecosystem and operationalizing new technologies.
Proficient with Compute and Virtualization technologies: Azure, AWS, x86, hypervisor (KVM, Docker, Kubernetes), OS (Linux/Windows), VMWare, workload mobility, containers, Terraform.
Windows Server 2008-2022 advanced admin (required)
Strong knowledge of AD
Detailed server/client network understanding (Load balancing, port testing, Firewalls, etc.)
Project management experience
Technical leadership experience with information systems design, implementation, and operations in major projects.
Automation experience, including devops
Ability to produce thorough architectural design and process documentation.
Experience “baking in” information security into a design.
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
REQUIREMENTS:
Years of experience –10+ years in an enterprise level infrastructure role
Education – Bachelor’s degree required; Master's degree preferred.

Communication
- Most be able to clearly communicate in English (verbal and written) technical and non-technical topics to various audiences. Ability to explain complex systems and problems in easy-to-understand ways will be critical.
Leadership
Proven ability to lead disparate and geographic teams to develop solutions required to meet business unit needs.
Must be able to formulate arguments that counter the prevailing understand or misunderstanding of Windows based technologies.
Strategic Thinking
- Ability to think big picture and understand the ON Semiconductor strategic objectives as it relates to Microsoft technologies.
Functional Understanding
- Keen functional understanding of ‘all things’ Microsoft as it relates to implementations of Microsoft Technologies
Technical Understanding
- Firm technical understand on how to utilize and deploy various Microsoft Technlogies. More importantly, the ability to develop solutions which utilize Microsoft technologies into the ON semiconductor environment.
