onsemi Digital Workspace Engineer - Endpoints in Bangalore, India
A Digital Workspace Endpoints Engineer is an experienced and accomplished expert contributing to a dynamic, infrastructure design team making a difference. The position’s primary technology focus is on endpoints management. The goal is to execute architectural directives and ensure 24x7x365 virtual infrastructure availability for an energy efficient semiconductor company. The Digital Workspace Endpoints Engineer role requires versatility along with initiative. The ideal candidate will know how to think “outside-the-box” and will share in responsibilities implementing, enhancing, and supporting the provisioning, configuration and management of endpoints via Microsoft Intune and Configuration Manager. The Digital Workspace Engineer will work closely with architects, infrastructure team members, and application developers. Adhering to industry best practices to support onsemi’s business objectives and user community experience is of utmost importance.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Day to day administration of Intune environment to include engineering new solutions as needed
Desktop application management and deployment
Endpoints client management
Creating and updating technical documentation as required
Mentors and assists global Service Desk support team
Tier 3 escalation for investigating, troubleshooting, and resolving complex Intune related issues in production
Capacity planning to provide analysis and decision support modeling
Monitoring, ongoing performance tuning, resource optimization, and delivering improvement recommendations to respective infrastructure teams
Passionate about cloud computing technologies, understanding business drivers, and emerging trends
Executes efficient life cycle management methodologies of Intune, endpoints management with an “automation only” mindset
Experience with hybrid cloud solutions (automation and orchestration, cloud management, cloud native apps)
Experience generating useful report metrics and analytics on the health of Endpoints
Coordinates meetings and communicates with non-technical staff on project requests
Ensures compliance to IT general controls and company working rules
REQUIREMENTS:
Years of experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Microsoft Intune Management
Education: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience) from a regionally accredited institution in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Information Sciences, Information Technology, or Software Engineering
Certification: At least one, preferably two or more of the following certifications: Microsoft Intune, VCAP; Microsoft MSCE, Microsoft Azure Administrator
Communication: Fluent English (written and verbal)
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
A minimum of 5+ years in an enterprise Information Technology (IT) environment
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Intune Microsoft365, Windows 11 (incl. WVD/VDI), Intune, SCCM, Office 365, Enterprise Mobility + Security (EMS), Teams, etc.
Microsoft Office 365 Security, Azure ATP, DLP, AIP, Windows Defender ATP, Azure AD, Azure AD PIM
PowerShell and other scripting language
Up-to-date knowledge of Microsoft products
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Technical documentation is a requirement of the position
Ability to establish and maintain effective excellent working relationships at all levels
Comfortable multitasking and working in a fast-paced environment across multiple projects of varying complexity
Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision
Must be able to visualize and articulate project parameters and scope of work
Strong analysis and problem-solving ability
Proficiency with Microsoft Active Directory
Highly self-motivated and directed with a keen attention to detail and willingness to assume responsibility
An openness to see problems or issues from various angles and a willingness to discuss and vet solutions until a common goal or idea is agreed upon
Flexibility to adapt and adjust as required until the business needs are met
Strong understanding of systems architecture from the application through infrastructure stack
Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills.
